We are looking for a motivated, energetic and driven Production Assistant to join our team in the production studio. As a Production Associate, key responsibilities include all aspects of making candles and other fragrance products, including labeling and quality control, cleaning equipment, and supply management. Day to day responsibilities will vary depending on the weekly production schedule.

No prior candle making experience is necessary (but is a bonus), however a willingness to learn, can-do attitude and attention to detail are required. Primary Schedule would be 15-30 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 8 am - 4 pm, based on employee availability and business needs, but hours are flexible and may vary. Evening shifts are also an option. Great fit for students or someone who doesn't want to sit at a desk all day and has a flexible or varied schedule.

Primary job responsibilities:

• Wicking jars in preparation for pouring process
• Hand pouring candles, diffusers, sprays, wax melts and other fragrance products
• Post-production including labeling, adding lids/dust covers/boxing and wiping down before shelving or packing
• Assist with unpacking boxes and pallets
• Cleaning production equipment + tools
• Tracking supplies and ingredient levels
• Help packaging and processing orders for shipment
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Must be able to stand on your feet + lift 50+ lbs

• While we use only safe, non-toxic ingredients, you will be working in a very fragrant studio. Please be advised that this job is not ideal for those with extreme sensitivities.
• Must be able to stand/be on your feet up to 8 hours, bend, and lift 50+ lbs

We're looking for fun-loving, responsible people who love the challenge of helping customers in a creative work environment to be our Retail + Events Associates!

Primary job responsibilities:

• Assisting customers in the store, online, over the phone, in-person at events and markets. Daily tasks include guiding customers in selecting products, answering online chat questions, taking inventory & replenishing stock of in-store candles, fulfilling online candle orders, fulfilling wholesale candle orders, and completing general retail store tasks.
• Using the POS to check out customers
• Facilitating our Fragrance Lab sessions and workshops, helping customers to make their own candles, perfume and other scented products
• Attending pop up events, markets and vendor events including booth set-up/take down and POS selling during the event 
• Must be able to stand on your feet 7-8 hours + lift 50+ lbs
  
  

Experience, qualifications + skills required:

• Outgoing, friendly and eager to help customers!
• Retail experience preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license and transportation to / from work
• Weekend and some evening availability may be required for some events
• Knowledgeable on our candles, fragrances and other retail products or willing to learn
• Maintains a standard of cleanliness in store
• Attention to detail and positive attitude are a MUST!
• Team player mentality, positive energy + a "CAN DO!" attitude
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Physical strength, this job will require repeated lifting of 50+ lbs and 7-8 hours of standing a day.

We are looking for a Social Media + Marketing Intern with an interest in copywriting, trends, photography, basic videography, visual design, and social media marketing. This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of marketing while working for a small woman-owned, fun, creative and rapidly growing start up.

Primary job responsibilities:

• Manage content calendar; ensuring important dates and opportunities are identified and communicated with the team
• Track trends + make recommendations for content (posts/reels/stories//tiktok)
• Create compelling, on-brand visual content for use in stories, reels, and posts
• Write copy for posts, captions, email
• Engage with followers and analyze overall consumer behavior to tackle future contents
• Brainstorm campaign ideas
• Design, write copy and schedule email content

 

Experience, qualifications + skills required:

• A good eye for aesthetics and details
• Must have experience with Instagram/Facebook/Pinterest/TikTok
• Self-starter who is able to work autonomously with little oversight
• Eye for and love of fashion, beauty, healthy living and personal style
• Ability to create content within the parameters of a specified brand vision
• Experience with Canva or similar digital design tools
• General understanding of social media analytics and metrics
• Experience/proficiency with Adobe suite (Illustrator, InDesign), digital marketing or email marketing platforms, content scheduling (Planoly, Later, Hootsuite) is a bonus!
